Orisha Lux Releases Highly Anticipated Album The Lux Era
An Eclectic Fusion of House, Drum and Bass, and Downtempo Sounds
Orisha Lux has officially unveiled their latest full-length album, The Lux Era, available now on all major streaming platforms. Following the success of the Prismatic EP released last November, The Lux Era showcases an evolved sound—melding house, drum and bass, and downtempo into a sonic experience that is both dynamic
and immersive. The album's 14 tracks navigate a range of moods and influences, from the chill, atmospheric vibes of "Aurora" and "Photon" to the high-energy pulse of "Movement" and "Hyperion." Orisha Lux pays homage to the footwork movement with "Southside Lights" while bringing a fresh take to Chicago house on tracks like "Sundial." Fans will also recognize "Cyan," previously featured on Prismatic, now remastered for The Lux Era. Additionally, "Lake Park Avenue" makes its album debut after earning airplay on Vocalo 91.5 FM.
A standout moment arrives with the track "Duality," a collaboration with Fiori Beats under their duo alias, Inyo. Blending lo-fi industrial drum and bass with experimental textures, the song marks their first joint release since 2022’s Dream Society LP.
